How to Fold an Origami Dove As a class we read the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr. We saw how important symbols were to Sadako and her family and the role they play in people’s lives. We decided to choose a topic that was important to us and to create an origami symbol that represents this subject.
Our subject was harmony. We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and equality no matter who they are. The symbol we chose to represent this was the peace dove. This book contains a procedure on how to fold an origami dove.
